Striped boarfish (Evistias acutirostris) rare and normally found in pairs or small groups this large aggregation of 38 individuals is truly a remarkable sight and certainly the same group Malcolm Francis recorded in 1990. Pictured off the southern point,on the largest Milne Islet off the Coast of Raoul Island during the Kermadec Islands Biodiscovery Expedition, a project led by the Auckland Museum in conjunction with the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Australian Museum, and the Department of Conservation.
