THE BIG BLUE BANQUET - Common dolphins work together to herd schools of pilchards into a ball of protein that’s easy pickings for predators both above and below the water. With the pilchards trapped against the surface, seabirds like gannets and petrels can dive in and pluck them out, while dolphins and kingfish attack from below.
