The New Zealand Sea Lion Research retrieves a Phocarctos hookeri (New Zealand Sea Lion) pup to be tagged and microchipped at the Sandy Bay colony, Enderby Island, Auckland Islands, New Zealand. Tagging enables scientists to keep a track of movements and estimate population numbers.
