Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) at Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World. Washed up on the 14 August 2011 at Karekare Beach on Auckland's rugged West Coast.
Weighing 8.1 kg and very dehydrated when it arrived at the Turtle Rehabilitation program it was soon discovered that it had ingested rope. Last weighed in at 10.04 kg.
