Landsburgia ilicifolia endemic to the Three Kings, described and only known from one site is swarmed by schooling Caprodon longimanus (Pink maomao) during the Three Kings Islands Marine Expedition, a project led by the Auckland Museum in conjunction with the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Niwa, and the University of Queensland.
