In the south Canterbury town of Pleasant Point, Catherine Morrison from O’Rourke Taxidermists prepares a kororā/little blue penguin for the Department of Conservation. The company is rarely called upon to work with native animals, as good specimens are hard to come by, the process is expensive and a special permit is required to have a native species taxidermied.
