FLUTTERING SHEARWATERS
Fairy prions and pakahā/fluttering shearwaters nibble on the small fish and crustaceans fleeing a school of trevally. Fluttering shearwaters, which breed on predator-free islands in New Zealand, can form flocks of up to 20,000 birds.
