BONE ARTICULATION 03.TIF
Judith Streat is one of the finest preparators and articulators of animal bones in New Zealand. “A lot of it you pick up through reading,” she says. “There are not many people in New Zealand who do it. There are so many things you need to know. You can ruin a skeleton really easily.” She works from home in Lyttelton, where she is in the process of cleaning oil from a Shepherd’s beaked whale skeleton.
