I have been mesmerised by sharks from an early age, even now in my office is a poster of a shark I have had for some 31-years, originally hanging on the wall of my childhood bedroom it still acts as a source of inspiration, but I’m reluctant to buy into either perspectives which polarise our view of sharks, neither opinion is completely true. Sharks don’t actively seek humans out, but I have had enough close encounters to know that a bit of distance can be a good thing.
